Our Team

Regina has a wealth of experience working in schools, clinics, and hospitals supporting the Speech Language and Communication needs of children, adolescents and adults in the UK, Ghana, and Ireland. Regina’s career as a Speech and Language Therapist began in 2017 working for a Private Practice in London. Here, she gained extensive experience providing assessment and therapy to clients with a range of Speech, Language and Communication Needs such as: language delay/disorder, DLD, speech delay/disorder, social communication differences.

Additionally, Regina also has a wealth of knowledge and experience working with autistic children. Regina currently has a passion for supporting children’s communication needs by better understanding their sensory needs so she can build a strong rapport, support them to feel regulated so they are better able to communicate their wants and express their emotions.

Regina previously worked as a volunteer Speech and Language Therapist at the Cape Coast teaching hospital Ghana. She supported the Speech Therapy Department to assess and deliver therapy to individuals with aphasia after having a stroke, dysarthria resulting from cerebral palsy and autistic people with communication differences.

Regina is registered member of the Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapist and the Health and Social Care Professional Council.


Jane Sheridan, SLT

Jane joined Communicate to Connect in January 2025. She holds a BSc in Clinical Speech and Language Studies from Trinity College Dublin. Jane is passionate about helping children and their families to reach the goals that matter most to them. She makes sure therapy is personalised to each child’s needs and preferences so it is achievable, fun, and rewarding.

In addition to her clinical work, Jane has a strong interest in research, particularly in understanding how to better support families with the practice they do at home. She is currently pursuing a research master’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy, focusing on children’s views of home practice.

 Jane is a registered member of the Health and Social Care Professional Council.


Regina Filson, SLT

Regina joined Communicate to Connect in February 2023. She is a mother of two young children with a passion for supporting other parents to help their kids communicate and reach their full potential. She holds a BA in Linguistics and English from the University of Cape Coast in Ghana, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma and a Master’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy from City University London.


Gavin Blake, SLT

Jordan joined Communicate to Connect in July 2022. Jordan is part of the Child and Adult Autism Assessment Team. Jordan holds a chartered membership with the Psychological Society of Ireland. She has a wide range of experience from working in both the public and private sectors in Ireland. She is a compassionate and empathetic professional who helps make your assessment process as smooth as possible.

Gavin joined Communicate to Connect in November 2022. Gavin has worked as a Speech and Language Therapist for over 10 years. His area of interest is in children’s Speech Sound Disorders along with children with language difficulties or DLD (developmental language disorder).
